The 2nd Infantry Division - Korean War Veterans Alliance is called an Alliance because it has become the gathering point for all 2nd Infantry Division veterans who saw action in Korea. Some departed from Ft. Lewis, WA only to be hit hard the day they landed. Some arrived later during the war and fought over hills in the area of what is called today, the DMZ or the Z. Others served in different times and areas. They work to take care of their members in the "2nd-to-none" way. They have many varied activities described throughout different pages of this site. A great Korean War Era Army site.
The Air Force's famous B-26 Light Bomber Squadron of the Korean War. The 13th Bomb Squadron Association (Korea) is a not for profit veterans organization created in order to re-establish and maintain the bonds of camaraderie developed during the Korean War and thereby provide social and recreational activities for its members.
