Gunny,
I've just spent an enjoyable and sobering Thanksgiving morning at the Meadow. Every nook and cranny and many of your links. In many ways it is a microcosm of some of my experiences, emotions and/or beliefs. Needless to say, I was blown away. I was first introduced to the POW/MIA movement through Chuck 'Doc' Stewart. Actually we first met on the web through his Max and our six German Shepherds. Chuck, (as you well know he can) touched something within me as I explored his site. I then met Laura, Ron, and many other wonderful, dedicated people of the web. Certainly not the least of whom is you. As a fairly new member of OJC, I am proud of my association. I am humbled by what you folks have done and are doing. Truthfully, I am overjoyed at meeting people who have similar feelings as mine, about our country, our military and our veterans. And Law Enforcement too. Having been 'blown away', please accept this small award to add to your richly deserved collection of awards. I'm going to leave a message on your guest book to tell the world I've been there. It's not necessary to respond to that. Thanks again for all you do. Have a nice Thanksgiving!! Charlie
Gunny, I know it is not much compared to the many awards you have received, but I just wanted to let you know that YOU are a HERO of mine. Thanks for all your hard work and dedication to OJC. You are truely a remarkable man and I appreciate all that you are doing to preserve the memory of those who did not make it home. Thank you also for your service to our country and for making so many sacrifices in the name of Freedom! Sincerely, Robin Kirkpatrick
